Market capitalization of Russia’s Novatek exceeds 4 tln rbl

MOSCOW, May 28 (PRIME) -- The capitalization of Russian independent gas producer Novatek has exceeded 4 trillion rubles for the first time, according to data of the Moscow Exchange seen by PRIME on Tuesday.

The shares of Novatek grew 0.3% to 1,321 rubles as of 12:46 p.m. Moscow time, so the company’s capitalization reached 4.011 trillion rubles.

Novatek has become the fourth largest Russian company by capitalization, overcoming oil company Lukoil with the capitalization of 3.891 trillion rubles, and staying behind top bank Sberbank’s capitalization of 5.262 trillion rubles, gas giant Gazprom’s one of 4.858 trillion rubles, and oil major Rosneft’s one of 4.608 trillion rubles.
